An Apple screensaver prompted thoughts of a striped sky providing a canopy to fields of golden corn and a small farmhouse. Using that as a reference I painted the cottage caught between the lush golden field, heaving textured with gold paint, and verdant pastures in front of the house. It took some time to update the foreground – it was a puzzle that needed inspiration!
