In my travels around the country I always notice a line of trees, seemingly planted without thought. However, at some point some a farmer or keen gardener must have envisioned an avenue of trees, either marking the boundary of the property or a road to the farmhouse.
I love the symmetry of a treeline and will sometimes use this as a focal point for a painting. Here I have imagined trees being lit by the gold of the setting sun.
