Sometimes I need to ensure that I do not become complacent about my themes when painting. Landscapes really attract me and I find great joy in recreating a view in my own style.
To get the creative juices flowing, I will sometimes choose a topic that is completely out of my comfort zone. Figures are not my forte, but I gave it my best shot. There were many challenges with this painting for me, but hopefully the end result is appealing for somebody.
