An annual visit to Ngwenya on the banks of the Crocodile River, bordering on the Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga, yielded this moonlight across the river one night.
We always watch the sunsets around 6 p.m., but on this particular night we went out, returning an hour later. I decided to check the river to see if any animals were drinking when I saw this stunning sight. A silvery moon stretching across the river, lighting up the rocks on the riverbank below our lodge.
